Obama Trashes His Campaign of Change!
Posted by: Rick
I watched Obama’s speech to the Clinton Global Initiative this morning with him saying he’s glad McCain decided to put out a joint non-partisan statement, he then went on to speak as if he’d solved the whole thing himself. About how HE had been in touch with treasury and federal reserve, and how HE had been in touch with members of Congress and now we were close to a solution, and how HE had emphasized the need to include certain things in any solution and how HE was glad McCain has decided to support adding those things. (those ‘things” McCain had been calling for since before Obama was even a Senator).
FACT is, we seen the real Obama and McCain yesterday. For weeks Obama has been hammering on McCain about how he “doesn’t have a clue” on the economy. Yet yesterday he came out in a speech I watched and said “I’ve discovered” that McCain and I agree on a lot of the same principles for resolving this crisis and that is why “I” asked him to join “me” in a joint statement on the economy.
FACT is, McCain has “agree”d on those principles long before Obama was a Senator and in 2005 it was McCain who took a “stand” in trying to get Congress (which included “I”) to pass legislation then to avoid the crisis we are at today. It is well documented, if one don’t believe it, do your own investigation with an eye on looking for truth instead of spin.
FACT is, McCain didn’t want talk. He wanted action. Obama wasn’t ready to put up and was pissed when he heard McCain announce that he was going to Washington. Unlike Obama, McCain has a long history, all of his adult life, of putting this country first. People want to spin his decision as being a coward and running from the debate, he didn’t want to cancel the debate entirely, he wanted to postpone it because this country needed it’s elected officials there doing their job.
FACT is, Harry Reid, who was so quick to say they didn’t need McCain , just the day before was saying the opposite.
FACT is, Obama blew it big time. His campaign of change took a nose dive. We seen him strike out at McCain because McCain didn’t want to posture at the expense of the voter, he wanted to protect them. Obama, stung and hurt, stepped in front of cameras and did everything he said his campaign was about doing away with. What’s more he showed he has been doing it all along.
All of his comments about McCain being clueless on the economy and now yesterday and today, Obama claims he has discovered McCain stands for some of the same principles Obama stands for. And of every one of those he specified today, McCain was “standing” for them before Obama was a Senator. He was “standing” for them back in 2005 when he submitted legislation with those same “principles” to avoid the crisis we now have and what did Obama do? He “stepped” up to vote “present” on those principles he “stands” for.
I was told yesterday that my writing is slanted, yep, it sure is. It’s slanted towards truth. McCain has been consistent in his entire adult life. Obama hasn’t been consistent one year of his entire adult life, with the exception of his ability to hypnotise people with his voice. He says he’s for change, yet he’s been criticising McCain for being clueless on issues Obama now says he “stands” for. He’s not about change. He’s about the same ol’ politics. Say what brings in the vote. It was McCain who stood yesterday, again, and even though he knows his “stand” may very well cost him the Presidency, he cared more about his country than he did being President and he did what needed to be done, his job!
If truth is a slant, then yep, I’m slanted and so is my writing.
