The Smoke Screen Surrounding Barack Obama

If you are one of those so-called obamabots who, when it comes to Obama, see no evil about Obama, hear no evil about Obama, but speak much evil about the other candidates and their supporters, this article is not for you. It is filled with information that only those who are capable of looking at it objectively and then conduct their own investigation will find disturbing. Information you can then use to do your own investigation.
This will be time well spent. Remember, this isn’t just about a man, it’s about a man who wants you to choose him to be the next President of the United States. You should know what the media (or The Shameless Media ) and Obama has sought to keep you from hearing.
The Citizenship Controversy
There is much controversy surrounding Obama’s birth in regards to his U.S. citizenship. The problem with this controversy is that it has branched off in so many directions, no one knows anymore why people think he’s not a U.S. Citizen.
It is believed the original claim was he’s not a citizen because he was born in Kenya and his mother, although a U.S. citizen, was 18 and the law at that time required that a U.S. Citizen had to have lived in the U.S. for at least 5 years since turning 16 in order for their child that is born outside the U.S. to be considered a U.S. Citizen. However, as he was born in Hawaii in 1961, which became a state in 1959, that doesn’t apply.

In Obama Is a U.S. Citizen I included a link to an article at Hotair.com which displays a photo of Obama’s birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser in 1961 ( Obama Is a U.S. Citizen. No, Really ).
This country prides itself on it’s principles, one being each is innocent until proven guilty, and Obama is no exception. However, when you are accused and there is proof of your innocence, you should seek to resolve the issue and put it to rest. Instead, the mainstream media, who is usually quick to convict others without a trial, will not take this up and settle it. Obama is fighting two lawsuits on this issue when he could very easily resolve it. Another part of the smokescreen that gets in the way of dealing with the real problems.
The Pro-Abortion Smoke Screen
The mainstream media (MSM) has avoided this topic, much like they’ve avoided many others and actively aided in distorting many. Obama claims to be Catholic, yet he is, what one Catholic Archbishop called: “the ‘most committed’ abortion-rights candidate from a major party in 35 years”. ( Archbishop criticizes Obama, Catholic allies ). Obama believes states should decided whether to allow abortion, abortion should be funded with taxpayer dollars, supports partial birth abortion and objects to providing medical treatment to fetuses who survive a partial birth abortion. He has been quoted as saying that if one of his daughters got pregnant, he don’t think they should be “punished with a baby”. Kill a fetus to avoid punishing the mother? See video:
Obama’s Prior Acquaintances
The Obama Campaign and the MSM would have you believe this is a non-issue. They instead want you to believe it’s just negative campaigning designed to avoid the real issues. Isn’t the type of people a man who wants to be President of the United States associates with an issue? Even Joe Biden, in one of his slips, indicated how his mother thought who one associates with matters.
He recalled his mother and what she said to him when he wanted to go hang out with guys on the corner. She said he’d get in trouble, and he protested that he wouldn’t become like them. “She said, ‘Joey, if it looks like a duck, if it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck, it’s a duck’.
The MSM smokescreen has tried to paint the associations issue as McCain was saying Obama is a terrorist and a racist and even Obama tried to smokescreen with things like “McCain wants you to believe I support Ayers actions.” I addressed this here, Obama Is NOT A Terrorist, which you should read for a more extensive look at Obama’s associations.
The short of it is that Obama’s past associations are disturbing. They are disturbing for two very important reasons, he lied about all of them somewhere along the way and judgement. These are not very nice people he has surrounded himself with and it says a lot about his judgement. Wright, Farrakhan, Ayers, Fleger, Rezko and Khalid. Also, the large amount of money he received from Fannie Mae, his associations and funneling money to ACORN, and associations with The Democratic Socialists of America and the New Party (an arm of ACORN in Chicago). The Crisis Factor
Joe Biden said it best:
“And here’s the point I want to make. Mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America.
Remember I said it standing here, if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he’s gonna have to make some really tough – I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate.
And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you, not financially to help him, we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.

Where did they go from there. They lied. They issued a statement trying to say Biden was saying something other than what he actually said. That he was saying anyone who becomes President will face challenges from the first day. I’ve read his words a few times now. Seems to me he’s talking only about one, The One, being challenged if he becomes President. ( Biden: Elect Obama and There Will Be A Crisis ).
The last thing this country needs is more challenges amongst those we already face.
Summary
There’s a lot of information included in this article and those linked to. But it is all information that is important to look at before you vote. There is one thing in that article I would correct though. It claims Obama has not admitted to being in the church when Jeremiah Wright gave any of his controversial speeches. Truth is that three days after Obama denied ever hearing any, he came out and said he had and that just because he heard them doesn’t mean he believed what Wright did. Which is one of the problems, as mentioned above, with Obama’s associations. His first reaction in every case has been to lie and in some he comes back later and corrects it. If there was nothing to hide, why lie in the first place?
Regardless of who you vote for, vote because you’ve checked them out yourself, not because anyone, including me, tells you who to vote for or why to vote for them. America’s future depends on putting the right person in office.
